SELASSIE iPOWER Roots Rock Reggae Lead Singer Rasta Reuben Kwabena was born in Kingston Jamaica. In 1990 He joined the Toronto Canada Reggae Music Scene as a skillful bass player and vocalist with King Selah and The House of David Gang. 1992 to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the birth of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I Rasta Reuben formed SELASSIE iPOWER Band. 1997 SELASSIE iPOWER released their debut CD Album KING of KINGS Featuring Rasta Reuben with the beautiful harmony of Sister Julie, Marcia Lyn & Yolissa Dahlamba. 1998 SELASSIE iPOWER Won The Canadian Urban Music Award for Best Reggae Album KING of KINGS. In 2007 SELASSIE iPOWER released their second full length CD Album REGGAE PLANET Vol.1 Revelation 21 and followed up with REGGAE PLANET Vol. 2 Revolution 22 for 2008. SELASSIE iPOWER has toured all across Canada opening for Great Reggae Artists such as Joseph Culture Hill & Burning Spear. Now SELASSIE iPOWER is set to launch The REGGAE PLANET WORLDTOUR.
